What we do

Scopes we self-perform

Print-reading crews who show up with the bar list, the ties and the chairs, and leave you a mat that passes inspection the first time. See every scope we self-perform.

01

Rebar Installation

Placing reinforcing steel to print for footings, grade beams, slabs on grade, walls, columns and pier caps. Chairs, bolsters and cover set right the first time.

02

Tie-In

Tying into existing steel — dowels, laps, splices and cold joints. We match the schedule, hold the lap lengths and tie every intersection that matters.

03

Tilt-Up

Panel reinforcing on the casting slab — mats, trim bar, embeds, lift inserts and brace inserts placed to the erection drawings, ready for the crane.

04

Elevated Decks

Two-way mats over composite metal deck and formed slabs — top steel, bottom steel, column caps and shear reinforcement, worked safely at height.

05

Foundations & Cages

Continuous footings, grade beams, mat foundations, pile caps and drilled pier cages — built on the deck or in the trench, however the job runs best.

06

Supplemental Manpower

Crews available on short notice to supplement your own when a pour date moves up or a job falls behind. They read prints and arrive with their own tools.

Questions

Before you send
the drawings

The things general contractors ask us most. Anything not covered here, just ask.

What size jobs do you take?

Commercial and industrial ground-up work — distribution centers, warehouses, manufacturing plants and mid-rise. We are set up for jobs from a single footing package up through multi-phase slab and tilt-up packages. If it is smaller than that, say so and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right crew.

How fast can you mobilize out of state?

We travel as standard. Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee crews move quickly; the Carolinas and Florida need a little more lead time for travel and per diem. Give us your pour dates and we will tell you what we can man and when.

Do you supply the rebar, or just place it?

We are a placement subcontractor — we install and tie the steel. Most general contractors and concrete subs buy their own bar and have it delivered to the site. If you want us to handle unloading, sorting by mark and staging, we do that too.

What do you need to give me a number?

Structural drawings, a bar list or schedule if you have one, your pour dates, and the city and state. That is enough for a real takeoff. If the drawings conflict or the bar list does not match, you hear about it from us before it becomes a change order.

How soon will I hear back after I send drawings?

Within two business days. If your bid is due sooner than that, call (502) 422-0710 and say so — we will work to your deadline instead of ours.
